Beyond Thirty-Nine exceeds 110,000 hits in a month
After less than one year from the launch, our website, cultural platform, beloved blog reached the incredible number of 115,000 hits in one month, in November. In January 2013 only we had 240 visitors, already a success since Beyond Thirty-Nine (B39 in short, as we call it) hasn’t economical, financial or political contents, but exclusively cultural goals.
Nowadays, more that 6,000 unique persons are our usual friends every month, moreover in rapid grow and from different countries and continents, while traffic has exploded reaching figures we really didn’t expect. More than 40,000 pages read, and 115,000 hits in a month are a sign of a high, deep interest.
We started in two “scrawny cats” (my definition) or in two “cats on the gutter” (Angelo’s definition), you can choose. Soon a third one, Juan, a precious Spanish-Castellano feline joined us bringing freshness and motivation – and a lot of imperative suggestions. Now, Betty’s and Georges’ arrival is a Christmas gift for us, a shining box full of new topics and perspectives; two exquisite and very interesting voices that add a great value to our platform. Of Alessandra Cocchi, our Muse and kingmaker, I’ll speak in a separate article. The team has improved and is going to improve further. Consequently, the two founders improved too: Angelo became more polemic and bellicose (his character, sorry); Ciriaco more sentimental, Sardinian and arteriosclerotic (he’s getting old, what a pity).
Beyond Thirty-Nine’s achievement represents a greater responsibility we have to take. Our audience deserves a platform each time more interesting and vibrant, rich in contents, opinions, and new practical ideas too. We hope that the events “Hong Kong meets Grazia Deledda,” planned for 2014, will be a new brilliant page of culture, a terrific opening between two continents (the second one is Sardinia, by the way).
Please, be close to B39 also with comments and suggestions, very welcome and useful. Follow us.
Finally, let me abandon myself to this sentimental mood wishing you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Yes, be happy.
