Beyond Thirty-Nine exceeds 210,000 hits in the month of July
In the last month of July 2014, our beloved cultural platform reached its historical top with the huge number of 210,317 hits in one month, 7,000 unique visitors, and more than 40,000 pages read (both new records too).
This new achievement is surprising, also considering the summer period and the geographical coverage: today B39 is followed by readers from more than 30 countries. The experts of web marketing say that, roughly speaking, the traffic of a cultural blog is between one-fifth and one-seventh of the corresponding traffic of a travel site (among the most popular ones in the web), and so, to appreciate our figures in the right way, we must multiply by five or seven the results. In any case, beyond mathematics, we have a splendid curve of increase—more than 40,000 pages read in one month are a solid proof of cultural interest—and already a proud history of innovation—and the two things are linked, of course. Our offline programmes, international projects and initiatives (the last one, Radio B39) are creating a strong base of faithful supporters and also high expectations.
We have an intense plan for the next autumn (don’t forget the writing retreat in Sardinia, in October!) and are organising an astonishing 2015 with several good surprises.
Stay tuned—someone still loves you.
